Miguel Ángel López de Armentia). Second record for the region.

has been relocated away from its first months resting area: on 3.4 was
seen at San Andrés reservoir, Serín, Asturies (Nacho Vega).Still
in the reservoir on 9.4 (Clemente A.Usategui, B.Busto, G.Gil).Still in
the reservoir, close to a flooded willow forest area on 14.4 (Luis Mario
Arce)Seen again and photographed in the same area on 17-18.4 (Grégory

on 25.4 and it partially showed breeding plumage (Juan Bueno). Seen
again on 29.4 displaying to a female Pochard (!!) (D.López Velasco)

An adult was seen on 4.4. at Portaje reservoir, Cáceres (Juan Antonio
García Jiménez). The bird had been intermitently reported
in the area the last two months but it was identified by the author on

The
bird was seen again on 22.4 when photographed out of the water. It showed
a ring in its right tarsus (Miguel Muñoz, Francisco Ramirez). See

and on 7.4 too (X.Pinheiro) and only one bird later(José Luis Pérez,

Málaga On 5.3,
3 Lesser Flamingos were seen at Fuentedepiedra lagoon, Málaga. Two
of them always together and the 3rd showing very agressive behaviour towards
other Greater Flamingos P.roseus (Juan Bécares, Eli Miralles).

Málaga On 21.4
morning there were SEVEN at Fuentedepiedra lagoon, Málaga (Paco
Chiclana, Manolo Villaécija). Presumably the three birds reported
above plus four more. One of them was ON A NEST (see photo below) but if
it had successfully bred or not could not be stated, despite one adult
close to the chicks too. See photos below (Paco Chiclana). See two photos

29.4 at least FIVE birds were still around, one on a nest the rest being
unringed, all adults (Richard Bonser, Andy Clifton, Douglas Barr)

3cy over Estanys del Matà, PN Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, Girona
(Luis José Salaverri, Ricardo Hevia, Àlex Ollé, Pere
Serrano, Xesco Macià, Xavi del Acebo, Jordi Martí-Aledo).

A bird was seen on 20.4 at river Pas mouth, Miengo, Cantabria (Javier Portillo).
The bird was PVC ringed in its left leg and was wearing a metal ring on
its right.

On 19.4 a bird was seen within a Sandwich Tern flock at ria de Avilés,
Asturies (Manuel Quintana Becerra). Later it was not relocated (perhaps
the same bird (1) moving north?, ed. comment).
(3) Cádiz
On 17.4 morning an adult was seen off Tarifa island, Cádiz within
the Migres counts program schedule. It was flying E and it was seen for
15 minutes (David Cuenca, Andrés de la Cruz).

Barcelona
One hybrid with Sandwich Tern was seen (only) on 23.4 morning at
Ca l'Arana beach, El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona (Ferran López).
The bird had been ringed from known parents at Delta de l'Ebre, Tarragona,
some time ago and carried two rings, including one yellow of pvc.See a

and carrying a branch when entering to an Eucaliptus tree at A Laxe de
Rons area. Two nests under construction were detected in the area and could
belong to this mixed pair corone x albus (Cosme D.Romai;
S.Paz).
