After a 15 minutes observation the bird began flying up the Guadalhorce

one bird of this species was found and photographed at close distance at
Cala Murtra, PN Cap de Creus, Roses, Girona (Syvain Maury). The bird was
digiscoped using Leica APO Televid 77 and Canon A95. It is the fourth for
Spain after two in the Canary Islands and one at Mallorca but the 1st for
mainland Spain. See two photos below and thumbnails here.This
report was known on 10.5 and subsequent research on 11.5 at the same site
gave no results (Ponç Feliu, Oriol Clarabuch). This arrival coincides
with sightings of Trumpeter Finch and Little Bunting out of normal range
as well as the 1st European record of Seebohm's Wheatear at Gibraltar (see
