Mute Swan Cygnus olor. On 1.7 there was one at Filipines marsh, Llobregat delta (RN Delta del Llobregat).

Ruddy Shelduck Tadorna ferruginea. One bird was seen on 17.07 at O Bao marshes, between O Grove (Ogrobe) and Sanxenxo, Galicia (Galiza) (Emilio Martínez Sabarís)

Balearic Shearwater Puffinus mauretanicus . At Estaca de Bares, Galicia,  moving Eastwards,  19 birds were counted in 6 hours on 3.7 (Antonio Sandoval). At Cabo de Palos, Cartagena,Murcia, there were 18 presumably Balearics moving S on 7.7 all seen in 2,5 h (Antonio Hernández).On 20.7 there were 170 bahía de A Lanzada, Sanxenxo-O Grove,Pontevedra (Xurxo Pinheiro) and 40-50 on 25.7 (X.Pinheiro, S.Paz).There were over 330 off Llobregat delta and Garraf hills on 31.7 (X.Santaeufemia, E.Guinart, X.Sampere).There were 242 off Punta Roncudo, Corme, A Coruña, on 29.7 (Xurxo Pinheiro).
 
 

Presumed hybrid Western Reef x Little Egret* Egretta garzetta x gularis(1, 2) There was one bird at Desembocadura del Guadalhorce on 4.7 (Andy Paterson) and 6.7 (Blas López). The bird was photographed on 8.7 (Samuel Peregrina), see photos below who regards the bird as frequent in the Málaga area.(2) There was an hybrid around the  Marjel de Pego, València on 25.7 (Jules Sykes).See thumbnails here.It was relocated again on 29.7 evening (Jules Sykes, Michael Vivian).

Glossy Ibis Plegadis falcinellus. The bird reported at Desembocadura del Guadalhorce, Málaga on 30.5 was still there on 6.7 (Blas López).On 9.7 it was still there. From the distance it look like an immature rather than an adult (Andy Paterson).At Isla Menor, Sevilla, and after the successful breeding season at lucio de Cerrado Garrido, there were a maximum of 58 birds on 16.7 (Paco Chiclana)There was one near Tauste, Zaragona, on 27.7 (Fran Alcala). On 30.7 there were three at Partida El Peirat, Cullera, València (Luis Aleixos Alapont).
 

Ruppells Vulture* Gyps rueppellii(1) One was seen on 28.7 at Alcudia, Almodovar del Campo, Ciudad Real (Rubén Moreno-Opo). This location has holded other previous records of this species in the past.

Eleonora's Falcon Falco eleonorae. There was a pale phase bird at Fluvià river, Parets de dalt, Pla de l´Estany, Girona on 14.7 (Pere Serrano & Alex Ollé). On 15.7 another pale phase bird was seen at torre del sastre (punta Falconera), Cap de Creus NP, Girona (Alex Ollé).

Marsh Sandpiper Tringa stagnatilis At Saladas de Alcañiz, Teruel, one was seen on 22.7 (Fco. Javier Moreno). Another was seen at Mont-ral, Huesca on 27.7 (Steve West).On  18.7 there were six at Buda Island , PN Delta de l'Ebre (Daniel L Velasco, Pedro J Menéndez, Pablo Fernández, Jorge Valella, David Bigas).

Temminck's Stint Calidris temminckii. On 24.7 there was one in front of  Bassa dels Pollancres hide, Remolar-Filipines reserve, Llobregat delta, Barcelona (Pedro Bescós), the first returning bird this autumn passage.On 23.7 there were 2 at the ca l'Arana reserve, Llobregat delta, Barcelona (Xavier Larruy).Still there on 30.7 (X.Larruy).There was one at Remolar-Filipines reserve, Llobregat delta on 31.7 (X.Sampere). At Marjal de Pego-Oliva there was one on 31.7 (Jules Sykes).At PN Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, Girona, there were at least one on 22.7, two on 25.7, 3 on 26.7 and one on 27.7 (Karel Mauer).
 

Red-necked Phalarope Phalaropus lobatus. On 27.7 there was one at marismas del Rocío, PN Doñana, Huelva (José Joclasera)
 

Lesser Crested Tern Sterna bengalensis On 1.7 a bird was seen at Jara beach, Cádiz (Paco Chiclana). At Corrales de Rota, Cádiz, there was one in company of two Royal Terns on 18.7 (Dani L. Huertas y Javier Cabeza).A pair of Lesser Crested Terns has bred this year at PN Delta de l'Ebre, Tarragona (David Bigas). In the same colony an Elegant tern has also bred (see below).
 

White-winged Black Tern Chlidonias leucopterus On 1.7 there was an adult at Racó de l'Olla, L'Albufera de València, València (J.I.Díes, M.Chardí).
See a thumbnail here.On 9.7 a bird was seen flying rio Torrox, Andalucia (John Wainwright). On  16.7 there was one adult at El Garxal, PN Delta de l'Ebre (Daniel L Velasco, Pedro J Menéndez, Pablo Fernández, Jorge Valella, David Bigas).
 

Laughing Dove* Streptopelia senegalensis(1) .Following last month news on this species, on 6.7 there were at least SIX birds of which at least three were 1st calendar-year birds at Teguise Golf course, Lanzarote, Canary Islands (Ricard Gutiérrez). See a thumbnail here and a photo-page soon. The birds behaved wilder than the nearby Collared Doves S.decaocto or Turtle Doves S.turtur all present in the same gardened area.

White-rumped Swift Apus caffer. There were 3 birds at the southern slope of Sierra de la plata by Bolonia,Cádiz on 4.7. Another was near Facinas on 8.7 (Kathy Shaw & Ken Shaw). There were 4 White-rumped Swifts at the 
Castillo del Monfrague on Wednesday morning at 10.30 on the 21.7 (John Butler, Stephan Schoech and Sally Schoech).
 

Little Swift* Apus affinis (1) Sightings from the same observers having recorded WR Swifts in Cádiz: 1 regularly at highest villa on north side of Sierra de la plata, 2 Sierra de la plata  4.7, 3 Zahara apartments  13.7 and 1 over Zahara  on 14.7 (Kathy Shaw & Ken Shaw) The species is breeding now in Spain again in a confidential location (ed. comment).

Snow Finch Montifringilla nivalis. At Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa, Cantabria and during a ringing campaign entitled "campo de seguimiento de la población de paseriformes alpinos en el  del grupo ibérico de anillamiento de León" carried out near Áliva and  Cabaña Verónica villages, Cantabria, from 23.6 to 3.7 a total of 16 Snow Finches were ringed. This is the first time the  population from Asturies is ringed and birds have been marked both with metallic and pvc rings. Amongst the rest of 135 birds trapped were 19 Prunella collaris, 1 Tichodroma muraria (female with brood patch), one of the only five birds ever ringed in Spain and 52 Pyrrhocorax graculus (contributed by Clemente Álvarez Usategui)
