Whooper Swan Cygnus cygnus (1,2-4,5,6)
(1) Barcelona. The adult that landed exhausted in downtown Barcelona on 10.1 remained in recovery process on 3.2 (CRFS Torreferrussa).

(2-4) A Coruña. The birds seen previously at Sada, Ria de Betanzos, A Coruña were seen again on 3.3 (Joan A. Ximenis @eBird)and on 11.2 (Manu Santa-Cruz @eBird; Victoria Utrera, Julián Velasco @eBird).Still there on 17.2 (Maria José Valencia, Xurxo Piñeiro @eBird), 24.2 (José Alberto Fernández, Iker Fernández, Martín Rey).

(5) A Coruña. The 1w seen at Ria de O Burgo, A Coruña, was seen again on 11.2 (Victoria Utrera, Julián Velasco @eBird) and 12.2 (Manuel Xestoso @eBird)to 16.2 (Xurxo Piñeiro, Maria José Valencia @eBird) and 24.2 (Cosme Damián Romay).

(6) A Coruña. A 2cy bird seen previously was spotted again at Cecebre reservoir, A Coruña on 17.2 (Xurxo Piñeiro, Maria José Valencia @eBird).

(1) Cáceres. On 6.2 a drake was found at Embalse de Alcollarín, Cáceres (Raúl Granados @crex Extremadura web). 3rd for Extremadura. Seen again on 8,2 (César Quijada @eBird).

(2) Pontevedra. The drake seen at Estuario del Miño, A Guarda, Pontevedra, on 8.1 was at Salcidos, Pontevedra on 3.2 (Manuel Xestoso @eBird).

(3) Pontevedra. The drake seen at O Grove marshes was present on 11.2 at Fianteira lagoon, Pontevedra (Xurxo Piñeiro @eBird).

(2) Pontevedra. The bird found on 2.1 at Rouxique, Sanxenxo, Pontevedra was reported as remaining there, at barreiras de Rouxique – Vilalonga, Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, on 3.2 (Álvaro Rodríguez Pomares), however, id is controversial.

(1-2) Zaragoza. The two birds at Estanca del Gancho, Ejea de los Caballeros, Zaragoza coming from December 2018 were seen again on 12.2 (Juan Carlos Albero @eBird) and 16.2 (Javi Sola @eBird). Seen again on 17.2 (Jorge Franco, Elena Cantalapiedra, Guillermo Juberías, Marco A. Escudero @eBird).

(3) Huesca. On 13.2 a bird remained at Laguna de Sariñena, Huesca (Maria Berna @eBird).

On 9.2 a ringed adult (Not Tonn) was seen (Jana Marco, Óscar Aldeguer, Oriol Palau) and later a 1w was seen too (Jana Marco, Oriol Palau).

A Coruña. The returning adult, locally named 'barrilete' was seen again at Lires beach, A Coruña, on 9.2 (Ramsés Pérez @eBird). Seen again on 10.2 (Víctoria Utrera, Julián Velasco, Manu Santa-Cruz @eBird and 16.2 (Miguel Rodríguez-Esteban @eBird; Iraida Marijuán @eBird).

(2) Lugo. A 2cy was seen at Xove, Lago, Lugo at the same place where the Thayer's Gull is usually found. Seen on 17.2 (Xabi Varela, Ramsés Pérez, David Calleja, Miguel Rodríguez Esteban @eBird) and 19.2 (D.González, photos below) to 21.2 (Xan Vizoso @eBird) and 23.2 (Manuel Xestoso @eBird).

(1) Tarragona . The 2nd for Catalunya, a 1w presumed female found on 22.11.2018 at Tancada marshes, Amposta, Delta de l’Ebre, Montsià remained there on 1.2 (Quim Minoves; Miquel Rafa). Seen also on 9.2 (Xavier Riera; Marc Gàlvez, José Guerra; Ricard Gutiérrez, Helena Arbonés et al). See a photo below (Ricard Gutiérrez). Seen again on 10.2 (Xavier Parra @ornitho.cat) and 12.2 (Hubert Mas, Daniel de Sousa @ornitho.cat; Rafa Armada, see a photo below). The bird was seen again on 16.2 at camí dels Baladres (Ricard Gutiérrez, Emma Guinart) and later in the area (Lluís Toldrà; Diego Callau @ornitho.cat). (1-5) Barcelona. The four birds were seen near the place where the 1st know nest in Iberia was found: there were 4 at Av 11 de Setembre, El Prat on 6.2 (Ramon Ruiz-Jarillo), see a photo below, and 10.2 (Víctor Iglesias), see four photos below.One bird, which seems not to be part of these four below was seen at Viladecans, Baix Llobregat, on 10.2 too (Daniel Jiménez @ornitho.cat). On 16.2 there were two at Mercabarna bridge, El Prat de Llobregat (Xavier Parra @ornitho.cat).On 19.2 there were four at Nelson Mandela bridge, El Prat de Llobregat (Jordi Ruestes @ornitho.cat) and two on 20.2 (Roger Guillem @ornitho.cat) and four on 21-22.2 (Ferran López @ Llobregat Delta bird news blog).On 28.2 there were two at Cal Nani, El Prat de Llobregat (Pau Esteban @ornitho.cat)..

(6-7) Murcia. There were two birds on 28.2 at Escombreras, Cartagena, Murcia (Susana Noguera @eBird). According to the observer, local workers refer the birds having been there since last Spring when there were four.

(3) Tarragona. On 17.2 a bird was found within Tarragona harbour, Tarragonès (Raül Aymí @ornitho.cat).

(1) Tarragona.
The female found on 5.1 at Tancada marshes, Delta de l’Ebre, Tarragona was seen again on 9.2 (Xavier Riera) and 10.2 (Xavier Parra @ornitho.cat) despite it proves quite elusive to would-like-to-ne observers. Seen again on 12.2 (Hubert Mas, Daniel de Sousa @ornitho.cat).

From 18-20.2 a 1w Common Rosefinch was found at Alcanar, Tarragona, attending a feeder (Pedro Trujillo). See a photo below and two thumbnails here.
