(1-5) Pontevedra. There were two at A Seca, Poio, Pontevedra, on 8.12 (Vítor Xosé Cabaleiro). See two photos below. On 23.12 there were five adults at A Seca, Poio . One was ringed and had been seen on 11.11 from Arcade-Soutomaior, Pontevedra.

(6-8) Pontevedra. The two birds seen in November at Enseada de O Vao, O Grove, Pontevedra raised to three on 4.12 (Agustín Alcalde @eBird).

(1) Huelva. A bird was present at Hinojos, Doñana, Huelva on 22.12 (J.A.Sarry @observado.es). nStill there on 29.12 (Rafael García Costales @eBird).

Whooper Swan Cygnus cygnus (1,2,3-5,6)

(1) A Coruña. The 1w bird found at Ria do Burgo, A Coruña on 29.10 was still there on 5.12 (Cosme Damián Romay @observado.es). nSeen again on 25.12 (Manuel Pérez @eBird) ans on 29.12 (Roi Cuba @eBird).

(2) A Coruña. The 1w bird remaining from the 7 that reached Laguna de Traba, Laxe, A Coruña on 30.10 was still there on 8.12 (José Luís Rabuñal Patiño).

(3-5) A Coruña. On 7.12 there were 3 juveniles at Praia de O Matadoiro, Arteixo, A Coruña (Xose Manoel Carregal @eBird). On 21.12 (Xabi Varela @eBird) and 22.12 these three birds (see photos below) were seen at Sada beach, Sada, A Coruña (Álvaro Rodríguez Pomares, photos; Bibiana Lorenzo, Roi Cuba @eBird). They were at their current location (X: 560784 / Y: 4.800.077) since the week before and they are probably the same three individuals having been seen in different areas of A Coruña coast.n These birds were at ria de Betanzos, A Coruña on 25.12 (Jag Escariz @eBird).

(6) A Coruña. On 9.12 there was a bird at A Espiñeira, Ria de Foz, Lugo (Xan Vizoso @eBird).

(1-4) Fuerteventura. On 5.12 two males and two (presumed to be of this species) females were seen at La Oliva, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands (Juan Carlos Diéguez). On 6.12 they were still there (Uca Díaz). See photos below and a thumbnail here. Still there on 19.12 (Uca Díaz, César Javier Palacios, Trevor Williams).

(5) Pontevedra. On 12.12 a male was found at gravera grande de A Fianteira, Sanxenxo, Pontevedra (Emilio Martínez Sabarís). Seen later by more authors (Roi Cuba, Xurxo Piñeiro @eBird) and on 13.12 too (Gustavo Ferreiro @eBird).On 16.12 (Álvaro Rodríguez Pomares), 17.12 (Xurxo Piñeiro @eBird) and 23.12 it was seen again (Álvaro Rodríguez Pomares). Goldeneye Bucephala clangula (1,2,3,4,5)
(1) A Coruña. The bird 1y/female found at Traba lagoon, Laxe, A Coruña on 30.10 was still there on 8.12 (José Luís Rabuñal).

(2) Asturias. There was a bird at La Linera, ria del Eo, Asturias on 9.12 (Gilberto S. Jardón). See a thumbnail here.

(3) Tarragona. There was a Goldeneye at Canal Vell lagoon, Delta de l’Ebre, Baix Ebre on 20.12 (David Bigas). See a thumbnail here.

(4) Huesca. One 1w was found at La Sotonera reservoir, Huesca, on 19.12 (Juan Carlos Albero). See three thumbnails here and read more in Spanish at Anuario Ornitológico de Aragón blog. Seen later by more authors (Jose M. Canudo Gavín, Aitor Mora @eBird) and on 22.12 (F.Javier Quesada @eBird).n On 24.12 it was seen again (Luis Gracia @eBird).

(5) A Coruña. A bird was seen on 16.12 at Encoro da Fervenza, A Coruña (Xosé Manoel Carregal).

(1-2) Zaragoza. The bird found at estanca del Gancho, Ejea de los Caballeros, Zaragoza on 21.11 remained there on
1.12 (Jesús Lavedán @eBird), 2.12 (Alfredo Sánchez Galán, Orlando Jarquín, Marc Gálvez, José Guerra @eBird), 4.12 (Aitor Mora, Sílvia Roy @eBird) and 8.12 (Luis Gracia @eBird)to 9.12 (Alfredo Sánchez Galán @eBird). On 15.12 a second bird joined the other (Héctor Bintanel et al., Sergio González@eBird, Lander Goñi @eBird). Still there on 22.12 (Luis Gracia, Jesús Ruiz @eBird). nOn 23.12 they were seen again (Gregor¡o Chaguaceda, Juan Carlos Troya @eBird). On 28.12 they were photographed, see below (Esther Yera) and on 29.12 they remained in the area (Alfredo Sánchez Galán, Xabier Remirez @eBird).

(3) Tarragona. The 1w/female bird was found at El Clot, l’Encanyissada, Amposta, Delta de l’Ebre, Tarragona on 23.11 was seen at the same place in early December: On 2.12 it was seen briefly from Pont del Través, l’Encanyissada, Delta de l’Ebre, Montsià (Quique Carballal).

The bird found on 21.11 at Txingudi marshes, Hondarribia, Gipuzkoa was seen again on 6.12 at Bidasoa islands (David Santamaria @ornitho.eus) to 9.12 (Eneko Díez @ornitho.eus).n It remained there on 25.12 (Itziar Gutiérrez, José F.Esparcia @ornitho.eus),26-27.12 (Itziar Gutiérrez @ornitho.eus), 28.12 (Alfredo Herrero @ornitho.eus) and 29.12 (Itziar Gutiérrez @ornitho.eus).

(2) Lugo. The bird found on 18.11 at Ensenada de Covas, Ria de Viveiro, Lugo was still there on 6.12 (David Calleja @eBird) and 8.12 (David Calleja @eBird).

(3)Gipuzkoa. There was a bird at Ondarreta beach, Donostia, Gipuzkoa on 16.12 (Jon Múgica, Joseba Amenabar @ornitho.eus).Still there on 19.12 (Jon Múgica @ornitho.eus) and 20.12 (Alfredo Valiente, José Ramón Labrador @ornitho.eus) to 22.12 (Juan Arizaga @ornitho.eus) and 23.12 (Jon Múgica @ornitho.eus). (4)Cantabria. A bird was seen at Canal de Montehano, Santoña, Cantabria on 15.12 (Alejandro García Herrera @ aves cantabricas web). On 20.12 it was still there (Miguel A. Pinto @eBird). nThis bird remained inthe area on 26.12 (Ludovico de Vega @eBird) and 28.12 (Jon Iratzagorria @eBird).

The bird found on 1.12.2017 at Rio Cabras gorge, SE of of Tesjuate, Fuerteventura, Canary Islands (28°28'32.7"N 13°54'11.0"W) and relocated recently was seen again on 10.12 (Uca Díaz, Gorka Ocio, Yolanda Ozaeta). The returning adult seen again as in previous years at Migjorn grassfields, Sant Jaume d’Enveja from 18.8.2018 was relocated in its winter quarters, closer to Sant Jaume d'Enveja, Delta de l'Ebre: it was relocated between El Matar fields and la Comandanta area, like in previous winters. On 5.12 it was seen near Mas de la Comandanta, Sant Jaume d’Enveja, Delta de l’Ebre, Tarragona (David Bigas). On 6.12 it was seen again (Marc Illa @ornitho.cat).still

Hooded Crow Corvus cornix (1-4)
(1-4) Barcelona. On 2.12 a bird was seen flying over Gavà city, Barcelona (Eio Ramón). See a photo below. There were two at Nelson Mandela bridge, El Prat de Llobregat on 11.12 (Pau Esteban @ornitho.cat). On 15.12 one bird was seen within El Prat de Llobregat city (Pau Esteban @ornitho.cat) while another was at Nelson Mandela bridge (Quico Serra @ornitho.cat).On 18.12 there were four at Cal Nani, El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona (Pau Esteban @ornitho.cat).n Birds seem a bit spread over the Llobregat Delta, Barcelona: there was one at Gavà, near the Barnasud commercial area, on 25.12 (Josep Calaf @ornitho.cat) and another at Mercabarna bridge, El Prat de Llobregat, Baix Llobregat on 25.12 (Pau Esteban @ornitho.cat). Another, perhaps the Gavà bird, was seen on 29.12 within Viladecans town (Daniel Jiménez Pulido @ornitho.cat)..

(1) Gran Canaria. A bird was seen on 27.12 at El Sebadal/ La Isleta, Gran Canaria, Canary islands (Ernesto Rodríguez). See a thumbnail here. It may be part of a group of three seen some months ago near Las Palmas de Gran Canaria harbour (Xabier Remírez in litt.).

A bird was trapped and ringed at Estany d’Ivars i Vila-Sana, Pla d’Urgell, Lleida on 1.12 (Sergi Sales, Víctor Iglesias), see photos below.

(2) Barcelona. A bird was reported on 6.12 at Tordera, Maresme (Arnaul Tolrà @ornitho.cat).

(1) Barcelona. The bird found on 22.11 at Riera de Sant Climent, Viladecans, Delta del Llobregat, Barcelona, remained there on 1.12 (Eio Ramón, Sergio Hoces), 3-5.12 (Ferran López) and 6.12 (Eio Ramón), see photos below. nSeen again on 8.12 (Eio Ramón, Sergio Hoces).
Still there on 10.12 (Manolo García Tarrasón @ornitho.cat), 13.12 (Ferran López, Jaume Bartra @ Llobregat delta bird news blog) and 15.12 (Andrés Anguís, Xavier Parra @ornitho.cat; Juan Carlos Bellido @eBird). At least present until 18.12 (F. López, M. Iranzo, S. Bosch @consorcideltallobregat blog) nand 23.12 (Carles Oliver, Heather Levy, Paula Petterson @eBird)..

(1) Fuerteventura. A bird was found N of Embalse de los Molinos, Fuerteventura, on 10.12 (Paul Ruiters @observado.org). On 12.12 (Eduardo García del Rey/SOC) and 16.12 (Eliseo Reyes) the bird was still there. See a photo below (Eliseo Reyes).
