Introduction

On 19.2.2011 a 1w Waxwing was found at Avilés, Asturies (Ismael García-Rovés). It was seen and seen by many authors in the following days and it remained along March 2011 and it dissappeared about 5.4.2011 a month and a half after its finding. This c.9th record for Spain not only has been the only fully twitchtable but also gave excellent photo opportunities (see February 2011 and March 2011 pages for some excellent photos). Some interesting video footage was obtained and we included it here for future reference and as an observation reminder.
