Introduction
A 1st calendar-year
bird was found in relative bad condition on 9.11.2006 at
Cecebre reservoir,
Crences, Abegondo, A Coruña (Amadeo Pombo, Mariana
Roura; César
Vidal, José Miguel Alonso, Luis José Salaverri, C.D.Romai).
The bird remained in ther area at least until 11.11.2006 (C.Damian Romai,
Daniel López Velasco, C.A.Usategui, A.Pombo, P.Pita, Samuel Paz,
M.A.Fernandez, José Guerra, Pablo Guerra, Antonio Sandoval; Xurxo
Pinheiro, Xabier Varela, Pablo Fernández and others. It was last
seen on 12.11 (A.Sandoval and others).
The excellent
photo opportunities that this bird gave have led us to create this page
for future reference and comparison with former photo pages in this website
on American Golden Plovers at Zeluán, Asturies
and PN Aiguamolls de l'Empordà
