Introduction

August 2003 is experiencing a considerable number of observations of Dotterels. Sightings in the NE have arrived later than in other sites but PN Aiguamolls is gathering a number of records.

On 30.8 seven were seen at prats de can Comes (Can Comes meadows) (Jordi Martí Aledo) a place within the park very interesting for this and other rare species such as Richard's Pipits (Anthus richardi). They were later photographed by Xavier del Acebo both on 30.8 and the morning of 31.8.
