Introduction

The 'bell' rang again at PN Aiguamolls de l'Empordà after the finding of the Green-winged teal and hybird early this month (still present at the area when the present bird was found). Visiting birders from Barcelona area Ferran Pujol and Francesc Pujol made 'their day' finding a Sociable Plover in the Cortalet lagoon. The news were quickly spread and even visitors from Barcelona (such as the photographer) could see the species. We include three shots of the bird.
